At Begudes Puig we believe every bottle counts. Our model combines returnable glass and local production in Mallorca to reduce waste, emissions and costs, while improving the image of your tourism business.
Environmental benefits of returnable glass
CO₂ emissions comparison per bottle:
- Returnable glass: 85 g per use
- Single-use PET: 240 g per unit
- 65% reduction in emissions
Waste avoided:
- 1 million PET bottles generate 30 tons of plastic per year
- With returnable glass, this impact is almost completely eliminated
Bottle lifespan:
- Between 20 and 40 usage cycles
- 5 to 8 years of durability
- This means less production and lower environmental impact
Accumulated impact:
- 1 million bottles = up to 329 tons of CO₂ saved over five years

A new project aimed at capturing rainwater falling on the factory roof in order to reuse it in the production process.
- Reduction of potable water consumption by up to 475,000 liters per year
- Elimination of 42.9 tons of PET per year
- Potential reduction of up to 40 tons of CO₂ annually
